RSPB – Provides information regarding the RSPB's activities from around the world, including surveys and RSPB Nature Reserves.

BIRDFORUM – This is a website that is full of information from peoples birdwatching experiences from around the world. Also includes up to date reviews, recent sightings, various hints & tips, photography issues and more.

BIRDING UK – A website that is being developed to provide a variety of information for your birdwatching experiences in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

LOCAL LINKS

DURHAM WILDLIFE TRUST – is a website that will take you to the official Durham Wildlife Trust Website. Provides information on the trusts reserves in County Durham.

DURHAM RSPB – The official Durham RSPB Branch website offers information on local birding and the chance of field trips that normally starts from Durham City Centre.

GATESHEAD BIRDERS – are a group of birders who birdwatch in the Derwent Valley area of County Durham. Provides information on their birding experiences and lists within the area, including upto date information on the Northern Kites Project.

TEESMOUTH BIRD CLUB – run one of the best birding web sites in the area and provide good information on the birdwatching sites in the South–eastern corner of County Durham. Also includes news on recent sightings in the area.

KENT ORNITHOLOGICAL SOCIETY – website provides full details of the Society, including information regarding the submission of records. It includes a comprehensive photo gallery of past rarities and gives details of birds currently in the county from a variety of sites.
